Energy Production

The breaking of the chemical bonds via the Plasma Energy Arc Reduction process releases energy stored in chemical bonds that can be captured and the remaining smaller molecules can be used to generate Synthetic Gas “Syn-gas”, Liquid Synthetic Fuel “Syn-fuel”, and Steam…. all faster and more economical than any other process in use today.

The flexible, modular design of the Plasma Energy Arc Reduction process can be modified to include on-site energy generators and fuel collection with little additional cost. The PAR process produces synthetic gas and/or synthetic liquid fuel and heat… which can drive turbines and IC generators sets for electricity generation of cleaned and sold for an added income for the site.

How much energy is recovered depends on the energy stored inside the waste feedstock. For example, plastics generate large amounts of energy and generally can provide energy to the power grid or syn-gas to pipelines. Likewise, sewer cake may only generate enough energy to power the Plasma Arc Reduction machine. The amount of energy you can get from the waste depends on the actual content of the waste feed being processed. For a better estimate for the material to be processed, please visit our Plasma Evaluation page and submit the estimate form.
